| The development of education must adapt to the needs of the development of time. In the face of vast and emerging knowledge, the traditional cumulative knowledge-based teaching and learning model, has been unable to adapt to the ability-based classes, because education in the twenty-first century focuses on innovation. Innovation in education depends on the cultivation of creative ability. That's to say, education is the ability of future-oriented education. Therefore, the focus of education must be transferred from knowledge to the development of students'ability and fostering the students'learning actively."Teaching students how to learn"has become the goal and mission of education. Schools should pay more attention to methods than knowledge. People who master the methods are in control of the law and the fate of people. Such people can better adapt to the requirements of the times. Reflective study is initiated by the new curriculum, which fully reflects the"Student-oriented"concept of this new curriculum. The ability of the reflective learning is a necessary element of teaching. Along with the deepening of the reform of education and gradual awareness of a life-long learning, reflective learning will eventually become an important study.Based on previous reflective studying theory, this paper tries to probe into the reflective piano learning of the nursery majors and how to cultivate their reflective ability. The main idea of the reflective piano learning is the following: The students consider studying the piano as the reflective objects, and consciously take the initiative to regulate the learning acts, methods and the results. It not only can effectively meet the learning objectives, but also are important to the future of the piano learning activities. This paper explores the value of reflective study and factors that influence the students'reflective learning. Based on the reflective learning and meta-cognitive theory, nursery majors'ability of reflective piano learning and capacity-building are explored. The paper also suggests the methods of reflective piano learning and the strategies to cultivate the students'reflective ability. It also tries to find a way not only to enable students to acquire knowledge but also to change the way of learning: to obtain self-monitor-regulated learning and eventually reach the goal of lifelong learning. |
