Meng Shun "jiao Hong Ji", "concentric" Love New Exploration

In the end of Ming Dynasty,the legend "Jiao Hong Ji" written by dramatist Meng Chengshun had been generally well received at the beginning of coming out.But it was subsequently forgotten once.Since 1980's it began to arouse the academic circles' attention. Researchers analyzed and evaluated it from different perspectives.They had both positive and sometimes negative argument to the legend.The study to the "Jiao Hong Ji" obtained great achievements.But they still lacked comprehensive and in-depth research to the "Tongxin" love view in it.This paper fully expounds the "Tongxin" love view from China's ancient history of Love and Marriage,history of literature and the author's social background,in order to profoundly understand the legend and give a proper evaluation to it.This article analyses the "Tongxin" love view in "Jiao Hong Ji" mainly from the following three parts.The first part analyses the four performance of the "Tongxin" love view in "Jiao Hong Ji".It includes the way of electing mate:pursuing the good mate for oneself,do not hate even if having died;the standard of electing mate:Tongxinzi;the attitude of electing mate: caution,rationality;the attitude to the good mate:loyalty,faithfulness,never changing until death.The second part elaborates the reasons Meng Chengshun put forward the "Tongxin" love view mainly from the four aspects:the background of the times Meng Chengshun lived; the impact of new thought in the end of Ming Dynasty;Meng Chengshun's view of true love; the succession and development to the previous works.The third part discusses the relations between the tragedy of "Jiao Hong Ji" and the "Tongxin" love view.The opposition between "Tongxin" love view and the traditional marriage concept is the tragedy conflict of "Jiao Hong Ji",which makes the tragedy circumstances move forward,and create a artistic conception through the lyrics songs,perform the tragedy experience,make person get a profound tragedy aesthetic feel.Its ending of "fairy circle" is also a manifestation of its tragedy.The conclusions from the analysis:The statement of "Tongxin" love view in" Jiao Hong Ji" has progress,historical necessity and advance,but it also has the time limitations.It has greatly enriched the content of classical opera of love,and had a positive far-reaching influence to the late love literatures.Flickers among them still draw lessons to establish right love view for us today."Jiao Hong Ji" deserves to be called an excellent play that materializes the author's progressive thought and reflects the characteristics of times.
