On The Concept Of The Literary Language Of Michel Foucault

Michel Foucault is one of the most famous philosophers and thinkers in 20th century in France. In the paper, we focus on the whole period of 60's 20th century called"Literary period"in his whole ideology. According to the context of the main works Raymond Roussel, External Thought and his view points on literary and literary language of other theory works, we formulate Michel Foucault's views in four items. We deeply describe the concept of literary language and summary the unique features. What's more, we stated the time and theory background and analyze the value and limitations of Michel Foucault's literary language. In a word, we can better know the nature of literature and its significance by acknowledging the views of Michel Foucault.Michel Foucault is famous for his literary critic works during 60's 20th century which were seldom translated into Chinese. Fortunately, we can get the general thought of Michel Foucault by a few Chinese reviews. To deeply analyze the concept of language literature and formulate the nature and feature, and then give the significance, we write this article.There are six parts of this article. In order to master the paper as a whole, the introduction includes the reason, value and thought of this paper on the basic of Michel Foucault's school experience.Firstly, it describes Michel Foucault's concept of the view of language, that is, literary language is a game, a thought way, a special thought space, and it is like an empty mirror. This part is the most important of this paper, because it answers the question what is Michel Foucault's concept of the view of language.Secondly, it depicts the features of the view of language which includes materiality, intransitive, repetitiveness and differentiation.These are the differences that Michel Foucault's concept of the view of language from others.Thirdly, in the paper, we write the diversified theory original and background of the view of literary language. The creative experience and theory practice of France litterateurs, together with the language evolution of western countries had effect on Michel Foucault's view. Fourth, the article analyzes the value and limitations of Michel Foucault's literary language. It is indispensable in the whole theory for the created study and theory description of Michel Foucault's view. Importantly, Michel Foucault is famous for criticizing some litterateurs in the same time in France. So it was lack of university for his works.At last, we review the nature of literature and its significance by acknowledging the views of Michel Foucault.
