With the establishment of market economy, spurred on by positive factors of the socialist market economy, the construction of modern commercial morality has made certain achievements, but at the same time, as a result of the impact of negative factors of the market economy, unsound legal system, an imperfection of the social mechanism, also lead to a illegal, unfair competition, forgetting all moral principles at the sight of profits, dishonesty and many other immoral acts. These acts not only violate the purpose of commercial morality, harm the fundamental interests of the consumers, but also seriously affect the prosperity and development of the business and economic. Therefore, it requires us to establish and develop the socialist market economy, at the same time, it is necessary to attach importance to strengthening the construction of commercial morality.The structural arrangements of this paper are in accordance with the idea of"Why should strengthen the construction of commercial morality, from which to strengthen and how to strengthen the building of commercial morality", namely, the need for the construction of commercial morality, the basic content and channels. The full text is divided into four parts: Part I, outline the summary of commercial morality and the thinking of Chinese and Western commercial morality. First, a brief account of the origin, definition and content of the commercial morality, followed by an overview of thinking of Chinese commercial morality which is centering on"benevolence, righteousness, trust", and the thinking of Western commercial morality which is centering on"rights, utilitarian, just".Part II, analyze the need for building commercial morality from the objective needs of development of market economy, the internal need of corporation sustainable development and the objective requirements of the interests of consumers. Nature of a market economy requires us to strengthen the construction of commercial morality in order to promote its healthy development. Enterprises need the internal moral capital of charity and the external capital of credibility in order to achieve sustainable development, which can achieve by strengthening the construction of commercial morality. In real life, the rights and interests of consumers are always violated, it is an urgent need to strengthen the construction of commercial morality.Part III, discuss the basic principles and main content of the construction of commercial morality. The basic principles are the unity of justice and benefit and the combining of competition and collaboration. The main contents include honest and trustworthy, fair competition, quality services.Part IV, attempt to discuss the main channels of the construction of commercial morality, mainly from three areas. First of all, building the rule of law, including perfecting of economic law and strengthening law enforcement. Followed by the commercial morality education, to students of business management major and in-service commercial staff. Once again, the social supervision mechanism, from the supervision of government departments, media public opinion, social groups, as well as perfecting the system of consumer rights protection.
