The reason that the author chooses light as topic to discuss its effect for painting is decides by the characteristic of light. Once the painter changes his way of using light in art works, he will develop an unusual feeling and emotion. Since contemporary art features much more creative element, light in paintings also has transferred to be a kind of visual language. In contemporary art, the light should not only regards as painting method but a new way to describe our social spirit. All in all, the light should be used as an effective way to construct the painting's space, balance its structure, guide the emotion as well as communication bridge between audience and works.
