Notes Under The Shadow Fable

MV is one of the latest forms of audio-visual art, which presents not only commercial but also artistic property. Stemming from the film vocabulary expressing, MV has successfully developed their own unique visual characteristics. It has brought unprecedented experiences to the audience by abundant ways of visual appearance and strong artistic appeal. As a vane of fashion and trends to the young people, is also effected other media arts by expressive forms and ideas of creation. Along with the significant development of last 20 years, Mv is keep interpreting the definition of fashion in an unique aspect by its diverse appearance.This thesis is attempting to study the forms and features of MV visual language by methods of documents exploring and case analyzing. The whole theoretic structure of this article can be divided into three sections: the relation of audio and visual language; the methods and process of visual work; the features and forms of visual work. The author is striving to study systematically and comprehensively about the features and intentions of music video. Accordingly, expecting to provide a brand-new eyesight and inspiration for the dynamic art of design.
