In human society, every time when science and technology achieve a new height, it can bring a revolution in art. When the literary theorists notice the cultural and artistic effect brought by image technology, meanwhile, the artists as practitioners are constantly working on related art works. Interactive installation art, as a new term in neo-media art, its unique artistic expression gradually becomes a vigorous international art form and the proposition of this artistic expression has entered a new era. With its unique language model, interactive installation art create a visual illusion—an intertexture of imagination and reality, which inspires people's visual association. This is in order to present a brand new perception mode and aesthetic experience, and by using constant change of rational and emotional reaction to make people think. By presenting the development of interactive installation art and its characteristics, this paper is going to analyze the realistic significance of the themes which are about "real" illusion.
