Guan Kiln of Early Ming dynasty reaches the summit in the history of Chinese ceramics, and the research of it remains one of the most difficult problems.According to the archaeological excavation of the Jingdezhen Ming Imperial Factory in Jingxi Province in these years, and the discovery from the Fengdongyan kiln relics in Dayao, Longquan,Zhejiang Province, the problems about Guan Kiln have aroused great attention in the academic field.By revealing the changes of the Ming Guan Kiln, and exploring the reasons behind them, the research of the Ming Guan Kiln definitely plays a significant role in improving the studies of Ming Guan Kiln and that of the history of Chinese ancient Guan kiln system. This article is based on the comparison research between Longquan Dayao Fengdongyan kiln and Jingdezhen Guan Kiln. The comparison and analysis of the two kilns through the collection of museums, and the excavated data of the kilns and tombs, and the technologcial conditions, indicate the similarity between the two kilns' productions, and finally confirm that Fengdongyan kiln is Guan Kiln-alike in the Early Ming dynasty.Combining the historical textural records,it also proves that there is one or more Guan Kilns in Longquan during the Early Ming Dynasty. On this basis,it mainly reveals the two important turnings of Guan Kiln during the Early Ming dynasty. The first is that Guan Kiln is turning from the loose administration during Hongwu period to the severe regulation in Yongle period, and is marked by building the Jingdezhen Imperial Factory. The second is that Guan Kiln is turning from the coexistence of multiple parallel Guan Kilns during Yongle period to the one Jingdezhen Imperial kiln in Chenghua period, and is marked by the Chenghua Emperor's command. It also combines the political and historical context, and argue that the peasant uprising causes the wane of Longquan Guan Kiln during the Blanc Times, and finally the government give up the Longquan Guan Kiln.Through integrating the newest archaeological discovery, and the hand-down antiquities, and the historical textural records,it tries to reform the pattern of the Guan Kiln during the Early Ming dynasty. |
