South Korea's Modern Female Literature Study

In history, China and Korea are neighboring countries which facing each other by having a sea in between. Also these countries are belonging to the Chinese character cultural area so they have been in close relationship with politics, economics, cultures and many other things. Especially the fact that the both countries are identically Chinese character cultural area, it has been an important motive to exchange each others literature.If you examine the research history of the current literature of China in Korea, since the beginning of the 1920' s, Korean scholars were already introducing the outstanding literary work of current literature writer at the point of time. As follows, the history of searching current literature of China for Korean scholars already has been well over the 80 years. This just not represent a long history of researching the current literature of China in Korea but it also shows that the interest of pioneers who researching the current literature of China are tremendous. This includes a several countries in overseas including Japan.Even though from 1950 to early 1990' s, there was about 40 years of rupture period between Korea and China because of both countries politics and history, Korean scholars were studying abroad in Hong Kong and Taiwan to gather the information that the people who are in the motherland can carry on with researching the current literature of China.After the reformation of China in 1990' s, Korean scholars meet a new affair of researching the current literature of China. Moreover, Korean scholars were informing the aim of their research on the current literature of china to the Chinese Chinese-literature scholars in Korea who do not know the situation very well. On the other hand, scholars in motherland were seeking to take off with an even more developed research in the aspects of affairs. The purpose was to start groping a new way of research toward the current literature in China.Hence these kinds of researches were announced several times by the thesis not just by Park Jae Woo, professors of Chinese-literature, international students who were studying in China and also a few Chinese scholars who research the current literature of China in overseas. Nevertheless, right now, these are written as a short thesis in number of scientific magazines so it has not been shown as a thesis for a degree for a many times. Like these short thesis had a limitation of having a deep research and also the according to the research information, there was no presentation that are based on the current literature of female in China. It is because either authors past experience or its all about theory of the history of current literature in China. Even though, in Korea, few scholars in Korea tried to gather information to start research about female literature in China, it has been all localized to an independent research. So that whole idea of research of female literature has been incoherent from the research so it has not been a venture.According to the Professor Park Jong Suk, "the research of the current literature of China always has been focused on a famous author or a male author. " However in fact, in Korea, there was a introducing not just a male authors but also a piece of work that is done by female authors according to the flow of new wave of research in early 1920' s. But there was no success that can be seen by eyes about research about female literature in China in Korea. Till when both countries had a passion heading to the research about female literature in China in 1980-90' s.However after the people has shown a interest in female literature, there was a enormous amount of successful outcome in a level of research and the number of thesis in last 20 years in Korea. In accordance of fact, this thesis will deeply focus on a research of the current literature in female in China. After the 1980' s when the research had been rapidly developed.This thesis is has began by the summery of the research in female literature where there are different opinions and suggestions. It will also describe general way to the special characteristics and the positions in the research of female literature in according to the current literature of China in past 20 years in Korea. Afterwards, this thesis till find a reason of huge development in this research and the challenges that they might will experience through out the time to time. Lastly, this thesis will also experience the special characteristic and point of three Chinese authors who are respected by Korean scholars who research in the current literature of China. dingling, zhang ai ling, xiao hong.Writer will show through this thesis that how the Chinese scholars are researching the current literature if China and what kinds of point of view that they have. Also take an advantage of researching abroad so that the Chinese scholars can be even more striking than before. And also to the Korean scholars this thesis hopes that this thesis can be the opportunity of developing the research of female literature in the future.
