The well-known representative of social critical theory, American philosopher Herbert Marcuse, through a series of theoretical writings under the integration of Heidegger, Marx and Freud's ideas, in particular the important concepts "one-dimension" , analyzed contemporary capitalist society, class structure, ideology, as well as the development of science and technology, contraposing the developed capitalist society's reality of copious material, spiritual poverty, therefore tremendous changes of contemporary capitalist society have taken place, that is to say, compared with the early capitalism, the control of the bourgeoisie state apparatus in public awareness have greatly strengthened. Hereby, with critical analysis about the new form how modern capitalist society control people through all his works, Herbert Marcuse put forward a new theory of social revolution -- Liberation of Eros, varied from Marxist , through the cultural industry, science and technology, modern philosophy of social criticism to achieve rational approach. Marcuse's theory of social criticism has made us realize that controlling way has greatly changed in modern capitalist society。The focus of control has diverted from political, economic field to cultural one, as a result, modern capitalist society has become a new totalitarian society。Marcuse's theory of social criticism provides valuable academic to use for grasping the nature organizations'socialism harmonious society deeply and comprehensively in post-war capitalist society.
