PierreBourdieu (1930-2002) is famous with Giddens and Habermas among the contemporary French thinkers.His theory has a strong sense of reality and practice, he abandoned theory and the theory academic style, advocated the practice of drawing nutrients from life reality.Habitus is a tendency temperament system, which is internalized with the way of unconscious in social and historical context. But it also has characters of open and dynamic, can able to constructe reality with the different of field occupied.Bourdieu through the concept of habitus reflected whether people living in the modern developed society realized the true equality problem. Bourdieu believes that modern society there are still the class, but the class is not only determined by economic factors, and also includes tastes, lifestyles, consumption patterns, hobbies and other cultural factors which are all the twin brother and sister of habitus.It is precisely these factors make the position of the ruling class firmly, even the education system also serves as the so-called legitimate tool of cultural reproduction.Bourdieu examined the modern society with his unique vision, and reflected the modern society with his theory. His theory opened a new perspective, inspired a new line of thought for us.
