From the old, Turfan was an area where all kinds of minorit nationalities lived together, every minority nationalites had extensive contract in all aspects such as political, economy and culture, and there were influence each other as well. There were a large number of documents about clothing and goods list buried with the dead unearthed in Tuefan in Chinese. This kind of documents was a very importment material to understand residents' social customs, economic live and religion ideal who lived in Gaochang from four to seven century. This article study clothing and goods list buried with the dead and its material collect The Documents of Turfan and had found publish from now. The aim of the paper is to investigate the written pledges drawn up by villagers and their social live, economy live and characteras of raiment who lived in Gaochang area from four to seven century through these documents.The article is divided into three parts.Section one is mainly study unearthed documents in Turfan and clothing and goods lists buried with the dead and the situation of scholars' research in domestic and oversea. The nature of clothing and goods lists buried with dead, and the reason and meaning of study these documents.The part two is mainly questing the exchange of content and form of clothing and goods list buried with the dead. First of all, the author brief introdunce three contents, they wrer clothing and goods lists, the data, and familys' explain and announce about the dead, and the cires every contents reflect. And then on the basis of questionnaire about content and form of clothing and goods lists buried with the dead, studying the exchange of contents. The clothing and goods lists buried with the dead unearthed in Turfan had 290 years history, in this period, its content and form had a change, it's content hand a change from one to three. With the change of the content, its form had place change as well. This part is mainly analyze the contethey were nts and form in documents had a change with the time, and the change of written pledges drawn up by villagers and ideology of residents.The part three is some special study of clothing and goods lists. People also alive at that time to wish that the dead could take these things to get another world to continue their live, so they buried all things they used in their daily life. In this part, the author had some assort for these goods preliminary, and had some brief introduction about these assortas. Reappearance the rich and colorful substance life of residents lived in Gaochang at that time. These full of beautiful thing in eyes from east and west proved again that Gaochang aere was an importment palce in the Silk Road undountly. It also a assemble palce of culture exchange in east and west .And then the writer does some special study of clothing which buried with the dead. Familys buried all kinds of clothing including chapeau, feock, trousers, socks and shoses with the deaa. The manners and characteristics of these raiments in Gaochang residents and it reflect the situation of all minority nationalities livd together in Turfan and the exchange and influence each other in raiment.
