| This paper want to study the different works of the same object ,which is the Chinese opera "Princess Turandot" and Western opera "Turandot", which is two different forms of theatrical performance,to point out their own characteristics. Based on the existing research,the similarities and differences between the two works are discussed in depth, from three aspects :the basis of the concept from the drama,visual and hearing. The technical and artistic characteristics on on their music and performances is studied.We want to have a deeper understanding of the aesthetic performance of Chinese opera and foreign Opera in the Creation of learning from each other and integration of positive significance.The integral paper is divided into four sections:The introduction describe the story witch the two dramas are based on,and the social background of the two plays.It's not only the basic description of the objects,but also the basis of the entire paper. Chapter one tell the difference of the two object's overall structure of the form and drama ideas,from the two sides of the circumstances of conception and dramatic structure,point out that Opera's characteristic of" Professional Entertainment" and the opera's characteristic of "Attention to the circumstances ",and analysis the differenct of Peking Opera "Princess Turandot" and the opera "Turandot," on dramatic structure. Chapter two discusses the performing arts, stage props, costumes of different shapes of the two plays,pointing out the opera's characteristics of "dance", "stylized", "freehand" and the opera's characteristics of "realism", the pursuit of imitation and reproduction. Chapter three compare the two types of art on singing and instrumental ,discussing the difference between the two kinds of art in singing and the use of different bands.In the end of the paper ,we summarize all the comparison of the two plays, and tell our own views of the comparison's positive significance to Chinese opera and foreign opera's creation. |
