The paper studied the influence of Wang An-shin's Confucianism thoughts to politics, culture and the formation of the society in the Song Dynasty. The embodiment of Wang's thoughts was '"the New Study", in which Wang An-shin inherited and carried forward the Confucianism. The "New Study" played an important role in turning the learning from theory to practice. It is not only Wang An-shin's creation of balancing the theory and practice but also the root cause of the failure of his political thoughts. Wang didn't realize that they should establish a new Song Dynasty socially, politically, economically and culturally. The literati and officialdoms compared Confucianism, Buddhism and Daoism, and at last they choose Confucianism to set up the new cultural order. The officials had the greatest respect to the Confucianism, which brought the literati and officialdoms to tour vastly, and they could explain their social thoughts freely. The opposites thought Wang's failure as a theoretical one. They learned from Wang's failure, and they employed the Daoism, the opposite of Confucianism. After a number of scholars' painstaking work, they finally set up the new cultural order of the Song Dynasty. The paper consists of five parts. The introduction part first clarified that political Confucianism was used for constructing order, which was just the purpose of Confucianism revival movement that marked the turning of Song Dynasty's Confucianism. It aroused that time's literati class's strong sense of social subject, which implied a clear promotion of self moral in the pursuit of external standard. Wang An-shin tried to realize the display of internal moral by the external form of political reform. Through the sorting of Wang An-shin's Confucianism thought, it could be seen that he blended the effort of constructing order and promoting moral into transform movement which cost all his energy in Song Dynasty, a time that profound changes have occurred on Confucianism. Confucianism is the field that leads him to "Saint" in seething transform.Chapter one dicourses upon characteristics of the times in the Song Dynasty. The basic policy of the Northern Song Dynasty is "to uphold military force rather than civility", which restore the Confucianism culturally. For the governers, they govered the nation by the Confucianism. Therefore, the literati and officialdoms had a strong social consciousness, which is the origin of institutional improvement and self-improvement.Chapter two discusses Wang An-shin's pursuing plitical goals. Firstly, the writer examined the influnce of "Qing Li New Policy" to the literati and officialdoms' characteristics of political culture. Next, the writer examined Wang An-shin and "Qing Li New Policy", and Wang An-shin prepared for new reform. Finally, we pointed out Wang An-shin's political ideal. In this part, we show Wang An-shin's different political ideal in his different ages.In chapter three, the author inspects Wang An-shin's Confucianism thoughts under the background of Confucianism in Song Dynasty. Thus it reveals the paradigm of Wang An-shin's political Confucianism, which displays the cultural and psychological changes among the whole literati and officialdoms classes in Song Dynasty; the drive of the sanctified-trends in Confucianism have a deep influence on the social-cultural psychology. But the author thinks that it has already surpass the social load of the traditional Confucianism, which shows the blending spirit of the traditional Chinese culture under the background of the Confucianism and Daoism going hand in hand. Although each class of Song literati is splendid, their spirits of safeguarding the country and fighting for the interests of the nation, their anxieties for people and their responsibilities for the construction of nation, as well as their historical missions, are the best footnotes for society and politics. These all reflect the literati and officialdoms' positive Confucianism spirits. In chapter four, we summarized the previous chapters. After the effort of the literati and officialdoms, they found a dynasty focusing on the external social order and individuals" moral. But after the Wang An-shin's failure, the literati and officialdoms regarded "practice" as a new beginning of the social order, a new beginning of the Confucianism.
