The Study Of "Humanistic Religion" Discourse Of Modern New Confucianism About Confucianism

Mou Zongsan, Tang Junyi et al. common clearly stated the Confucianism "human culture and education" argument.This paper discusses this assertion according to Mou Zongsan, Tang Junyi, Fang Dongmei et al point of view as the main material.Discussion involves comparing Chinese culture and Western culture in the Confucian Perspective, researching cultural background Confucian "human culture and education" thesis is associated,"intellectual intuition" method of cognition and "double ontological" moral metaphysics.Two views are expounded out by the Confucianism "human culture and education" argument:from the perspective of religious studies,Confucianism through affirmative human values and the goodness of humanity as a theoretical foundation,give out a religion which is a rational ethics around human and his life in this balanced world.From the metaphysical point of view,the Confucianism is around understanding and practice of morality,formed the "intellectual intuition" method of cognition and the view that "mem are Finite and Infinite".By this way,Confucianism established a metaphysical called "double ontological" moral metaphysics which placed moral on the ontology position.This paper teased out these ideas about the differences between Chinese culture and Western culture:Chinese cultural emphasis on ethics and art, religion and science focus of Western culture;Chinese culture use "intellectual intuition" as the main method of cognition,Western culture use the logical analysis as the main method of cognition;the center of Chinese cultural is people and life, the center of Western culture is the natural world and God. So, we can find out the intense spirit of humanism in Chinese cultural.Then,by the method of religious and the method of metaphysics,this paper try to find out how the Confucianism existed as a religion which is based on "human culture and education", while it has no any worship about gods.
