After the establishment of New China,as the head of "worker-Peasant-Soldier" literature, the industrial novels didn't get quite great development and high attention as rural theme and revolutionary historical theme, there are two main reaosns in my opinion.Firstly, as the leader of the whole country, because of their special social role, the working class can't avoid representing the language of main ideology to some extent. This makes the industrial novels stay in the context of ideology central discourse and hard to avoid being boring. Secondary, the lack of the writer's experience is also an important reason for the lagging development of the industrial novels. There are three different developing periods in this essay, they are, 1)1950s,the initial period of new China, compared with the production situation of industry, the creation of industrial novels is far behind.2) 1970s-1980s,the initial period of reform and opening, during this time, reform novels rose,3)1990s, later period of reform and opening, with the further development of reform of state-owned enterprises, many workers lost their jobs and high social status that they used to have during 1950s.,modern-shock-wave novels is an important Literary Phenomenon. The attention point of last part of the third chapter is a special social group called peasant workers, they left their hometowns and rushed into the cities to make a better life. As a special social group, they have been existed for a long time, but as a literature phenomenon, they are pretty new. Through the description of these periods, the essay went into particulars of the industrial novels during the past 60 years, analysed the status evolution of the workers and tried to figure out the development of the whole society.
