In this paper, the author treats the representative of the Japanese aesthetic writer Tanizaki's"Idiot love"as the main image, concluding the Taisho period ending series of some of the works of the devil. Besides, the paper also discusses the important women image– temptress appeared in the works.Tanizaki created a variety of female images in his all life. An important one is the Temptress. Temptress appears as a beautiful tool in his works to seduce males, and torture them brutally. These images impress people deeply. In this paper, the author discuss the image by reading of works, meanwhile using the heroine named Naomi in the"Idiot's Love"as a point of view, with the knowledge of psychological to analyze the reasons of becoming temptress.This paper will be divided into four parts.The first part introduces the authors'activities, and the research of women's image. Finally, the author finds some aspects that worth researching.The second part is to analyze why Naomi turned into a temptress from the objective factors.The third part is to analyze why Naomi turned into a temptress from the subjective factors.The forth part is the conclusion. In both objective and subjective analysis of factors, the author make a conclusion, that is why Naomi can successfully turn into a temptress. It is the result of a variety of factors. To analyze the objective factor from two aspects, one is family of Naomi's, the other is the male hero, and analyzes the subjective from Naomi's own conditions, as well as her desire.It's not only the"Idiot's Love", the temptress in Tanizaki's period of most of the works in the devil's, are very similar to her.
