The History Vision Of The Southern Song Linan Study

Hangzhou is a famous city with profound history and splendid culture. The best feature of this city was when it was Linan which as the Capital of Southern Song Dynasty. Not only because it was one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world in the 12th and 13th centuries, but also was the biggest turning point in the history of the development of Chinese cities. Under the comprehensive actions which involved the development of commodity economy, the rise of the burgher stratum and printing technology innovation, the city boomed, the entertainment life of the residents became rich and official printing and private printing was prosperous. On this basis, huaben and city notes which about Linan of Southern Song Dynasty flourished, such as"Bai Niangzi Yong Zhen Leifeng Ta","Xishan Yi Ku Gui""Nian Yu Guan Yin""Wulin Jiu Shi"and so on. They re-create a scene of prosperity of Linan in Southern Song Dynasty generally and lively. To some extent,they are more true than the Chinese Official History Book,and develop the history of chinese literature, especially have an important city historical meaning.In preface, this dissertation discusses some special relationships between Linan of Southern Song Dynasty and huaben,city notes, and finally explams the main idea,status and meaning of this research. In Chapter One, it discusses urban public space of Linan from two aspects, one is city layout, the other is city mark. In Chapter Two, it discusses business of Linan from two aspects, one is Eating and Drinking , the other is business man. In Chapter Three, main introduce three important feasts and their customs. In Chapter Four, it discusses immigrants in Linan and wide-ranging influences on social life in Linan. In conclusion, main introduce meaning of huaben and city note in the history of city.This thesis regards Linan of Southern Song Dynasty as the research object,and regards huaben and city notes which about Linan of Southern Song Dynasty as main research data. The dissertation discusses not only the value of historical materials but also the value of art of literature in order to duplicate a"Qing Ming Shang He Tu"of a Jiangnan city.
