Three Hundred Tang Poems from the tang Dynasty, which show no sign of declining since 1763, has attracted great attention of domestic scholars due to its successful dissemination. Much attention has been paid to the text's characteristics and the estimation of its value in the academic kingdoms in history, whereas its dissemination has been ignored. The study focuses on Three Hundred Tang Poems from the tang Dynasty's characteristics, through the study of main Qing Dynasty's version, related comments on social and cultural,and dissemination to the western countries, attempts to find out the variety of factors which influence the successful transmission of Three Hundred Tang Poems from the tang Dynasty.The text is divided into three parts. The Preface gives a brief introduction of current study on Three Hundred Tang Poems from the tang Dynasty and makes clear the methods of study and significances of this thesis.Chapter One discusses characteristics of Three Hundred Tang Poems from the tang Dynasty, and analyzes its mainly Qing versions as well as respective styles of translation, and discusses its dissemination in different periods in the Qing Dynasty as well as the impact of unique culture in Qing Dynasty on the compilation and spread of Three Hundred Tang Poems from the tang Dynasty.Chapter Two accounts for three parts such as features of Qing Tang anthology, Tang Royal elections and Cultural Management, and integration of poetry theory in Qing Dynasty for center study, introduce the social and cultural background of compilation and spread of Three Hundred Tang Poems from the tang Dynasty.Chapter Three through the case study of The Jade Mountain exhibits the westernization of Three Hundred Tang Poems from the tang Dynasty under the influence of American Poetry Sports.
