Folk Beliefs in Suzhou District was always prosperous, and it became much more thriving in Song Dynasty. Folk Beliefs in Song Dynasty was different from it in Tang Dynasty. The model of"Jibuwangyue"was broken. The people of all faiths found the many kind of objects from all walks of life, including tradition styles,Confucianism styles,Taoist styles etc. By classifying the local Folk Beliefs and showing them in dimensional levels,we can find it was a picture that many kinds of Folk Beliefs existed peacefully. The reason why Folk Beliefs developed wildly in Song Dynasty was an inevitable result of its development. It was also related to the development of the local commodity economy, and the government's support was also an important reason. Although the existence of Folk Beliefs was in accordance with the benefits of government in some respects, but to"YinCi", which has much conflict with orthodox ideologies, the official position clamp downed and destructed severely. And those"ZhengCi", they can give people wonders such as rainfall,Qiuzi,illnesses etc and accordingly get respect from people.Generally speaking, government will try their best to get control over these temples to control local society. One way had been implemented, that is, to recognize them. By analyzing, we can see the local-relations: Local Beliefs,Local people,Local Magistrates,Local elites. If government controls the Local Beliefs, it can control the local society.
