The Cultural Connotation Of The Chinese Auspicious Designs And Design Expression

The people don't have a clear understanding of the origination,development, application, expression form and development vein of the propitious concept and various type auspicious pattern can't be classified by a kind of effective system, according to these problems, relevant analysis is carried out in this paper. We make great efforts to give a clearly explanation for the origin of propitious concept by the method of coordinating and concluding the related data and field work. Based on the previous results,we summarize classification methods of auspicious pattern from the view of subject matter, connotation, concept and supports.This paper aims at revealing the cultural connotation and aesthetic characteristics of the auspicious pattern. Age is used as main line when analyzing the aesthetic connotation of auspicious pattern, the effect of aesthetic characteristics on auspicious pattern is emphasized and analyzed when combining with historical background and mass culture circumstance, the development vein of auspicious pattern is summarized by different stages. auspicious pattern is seen as a kind of combination between chinese traditional culture and chinese traditional thought and forming a lot of works featured as the coordination of yin yang and the unification of the truth, good and beauty. In these works, representative expression form include the symmetric equilibrium formation methods,search after natural form,analogy,symbolism,back to the human nature.etc。The fourth and fifth chapter of this paper pay attention to the connection between auspicious pattern and contemporary design, making a deep exposition about the social value and the transformations of chinese traditional auspicious pattern, exploring developmental characteristics and rules of chinese traditional auspicious pattern by comparing some typical cases. We should carry corward the traditional culture properly, trying to avoid using the traditional culture without innovation and exaggerating the use value of traditional culture.The westernization of Chinese traditional culture should not be advocated, we should keep the onnotation of traditional culture, concentrating the essence of it,and making traditional culture keep pace with the times, setting up obvious national banner. Owing to traditional culture merged into the International design, the the necessity and potential problem of it is put forwardedContraposing different application level of the traditional culture in the design of fieled, emphasizing the development of traditional Chinese culture unilaterally, and copying blindly without innovation, this paper put forward the following new insights: an inevitable trend and the presence of defects combining Chinese traditional culture with the worldwide design are pointed out objectively, the differernce ,the conflict, the integration and the co-existence and so on between the two are researched to emphasize the sustainable development of excellent traditional culture, and reasonable construction suitable for the traditional cultural heritage is also proposed. It is expected that this paper could provide information for the traditional Chinese culture to highlighting strong ethnic charm and shine new luster in a blend of tradition and modernity and play an effective role in guiding the design development of the industry.
