Tibetan auspicious pattern is a part of the Tibetan auspicious-pattern art,which is filled with unique cultural and artistic characteristic of Tibetan people.In the long history of the formation and development of Tibetan ethnic culture,it has evolved into a genetic specimen of Tibetan culture.As one of the most representative Tibetan art,it has high cultural and artistic value.This market-linked study is about the Tibetan auspicious-pattern portfolio which is based on the actual product development of“UIVY” projects,and there is no such study before.The main body of this paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which involves the research background,purpose,value and research method and gives necessary explanation to the close relationship between the development plan of “UIVY” brand and the content of this research.The second part is the investigation and research on the “UIVY” brand.Firstly,it summarizes the research on brand culture,product,domestic and foreign customers and the market,and then elaborates the compatible relationship between brand development plan and Tibetan traditional auspicious-pattern portfolio.Part Three is the ontology study of Tibetan traditional auspicious-pattern portfolio.Through the study of the external manifestation and the inner cultural connotation,the aesthetic characteristics of Tibetan traditional auspicious pattern combination are refined,which is the theoretical basis of the later design practice on Tibetan traditional auspicious-pattern portfolio.The fourth part analyzes the representative twenty groups of products associated with the Tibetan traditional auspicious patterns in the current Tibetan(Lhasa)and non-Tibetan areas,in order to summarize the experience and shortcomings of the existing product design and provide ideas for the future design practice.The fifth part is the design practice ofpro-phase theory and research results,which presents and illustrates two series of product designs.The last part is the summary of the full text,which focuses on the summary and reflection of research practice.
