The paper aims to explore the life of the Huai Su and thereby find his influence in the Pingan Period to the Edo period in Japan. In the history of Japanese calligraphy, Ono Daofeng, Fujiwara Sukemasa, Yishan Yining and Liangkuan are all more or less under the influence of Huai Su and Chinese cursive. This paper hopes to base on my understanding of the history of Japanese cursive, to find out a development path of Japanese cursive under Chinese influence. It reveals the development of Japanese calligraphy, it is impacted by the calligrapher Huai Su and also integrated of Japanese own unique style. These styles and accumulation also affected on innovation and development of modern Japanese calligraphy. At the same time, Japanese calligraphy theorists and collectors study further on the Huai Su "Zixu posts" Fragments in Japan, to explore the spread and impact of Huai Su and his cursive art in Japan. In the process of writing this paper, by empirical research and compare, I hope to further integrate my creativity to feel Huai Su's fine works and charm.
