Based on the previous research both in China and Japan, the thesis is dedicated to the further study of the specific implications, usages and the subtle differences between various usages so as to clarify the influence they insert upon the Japanese language learners. The research is conducted by questionnaire; based on its results and the study of the native language, Chinese impact upon the learning of Japanese conditional clauses, the thesis aims at the exploration to find a more appropriate way for Chinese learners to acquire such sentence patterns. The questionnaire done by 50 Japanese language learners shows ambiguous understanding of the functions of the four Japanese conditional sentences; especially the subtle differences among the four models are not yet grasped. The learning methods want variety, independent learning and thinking; instead students are learning the language inactively. A further study of the problems proofs that the independent thinking through samples should be a choice for the study of conditional clauses. Meanwhile, it makes clear the importance of thinking in the Japanese language learning.
