Liqun is one of the pioneers of new woodcut movement initiated by Luxun and he is also one of the influential figures in the literature and art of the revolutionary realism in the 20th century. He has devoted his life to the cause of national liberation and exploring the national form of the new woodcut. Researches on Liqun are almost based on a point of Revolutionary realism principle. Some had involved the lyrical feature of his works, but systematic exposition is too few. This article makes a systematical analysis of the lyrical feature in Liqun's works. The writer investigated the development from simple lyrical to poetry of liqun's work. Specific feature of Liqun's woodcut are analysised from the following aspects: theme, conception, modeling, color processing, title. Combining Liqun's personality, the influence of local culture and three stages of art education background, the study of folk art and traditional art, to analysis the reasons of lyricism in liqun's work.
