Interpersonal trust as a complex psychological phenomenon in social life and interpersonal communication is inevitably affected by many factors. Whether in the community level or individual level, there are a lot of factors affecting interpersonal trust, among of which social supports factors and self-worth factors have close relationship with interpersonal trust. In view of Private College Students were considerable groups nowadays, so it is a practical significance to research their psychological state. Therefore, according to the social environment and psychological characteristics of Private College Students, this article studied the conditions of Private College Students'interpersonal trust and its correlation to social support & self-worth. The purpose of this research is to provide some help for the improvement of Private College Students'interpersonal skills and their psychological health education.This article used questionnaires to study, the questionnaires used in this study included the Interpersonal Trust Scale by Rotter, the Social Support Rating Scale by Xiao Shuiyuan and the Youth Self-worth Scale by Huang Xiting. By testing 386 Private College Students, We investigated the conditions of Private College Students' interpersonal trust, social supports and self-worth; we also Analysis the correlations between them.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The average level of Private College Students'interpersonal trust is in a low degree,even less than Public College Sthdents'.2.There is no significant difference in gender and sources of Private College Students'interpersonal trust; while the major,the grade and the family background makes significant difference on interpersonal trust.3.Private College Students'interpersonal trust are significantly correlated to the social support and self-worth; Moreover, social support and self-worth have a significant prediction to interpersonal trust.4. Self-worth has a medi-function between social support and interpersonal trust, social support had not only direct influence on interpersonal trust, but also impacted interpersonal trust by influencing self-worth.
