On the base of the summary of related study about alienation, the research firstly did a confirmatory factor analysis on the Adolescent Alienation Scale developed by Yang Dong, the outputs reflect that it’s good to be accepted. The research focus on finding out the status of the college students’ alienation and its relationship with interpersonal trust and family social support.Adolescent Alienation Scale, Interpersonal Trust Scale, Family Cohesion and Adaptability Scales as research tools, the research investigated in six institutions: Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing Forestry University, Nanjing Audit University, Nanjing Institute of Industry Technology, with449students, tested the current status and alienation differences of students in each demographic variable, and using lisrel software to analyze interpersonal trust, family social support in predicting the sense of alienation.The findings are as follows:(1) The college students’alienation is at the middle level, the first of three dimensions, the highest is the environment alienation, the lowest is the interpersonal alienation; in the second order of nine dimensions, the highest is the living environment alienation, the lowest is the family alienation;(2) Alienation of boys is significantly higher than girls;(3) Freshman students’ alienation was significantly highest, followed by junior and senior, sophomore were at the lowest level of alienation;(4) Nanjing Institute of Industry Technology’s students’sense of alienation was significantly higher than the other college students;(5) There is no significant difference between students from one-child family and students from several-children family;(6) The alienation of students from different areas is of no significant difference;(7) Parental occupation type, household income differences result in students’sense of loneliness, social isolation, family alienation, meaningless are significant different;(8) The college students are at a medium level of interpersonal trust level, and in all demographic variables aren’t significantly different;(9) Family and social support of students there are gender differences, women were significantly higher than boys, sophomore and junior students are significantly higher than first-year students, liberal arts students are significantly higher than science students, vocational school students are significantly lower than the other college students;(10) There is a significant positive correlation between the sense of alienation and interpersonal trust;(11) There is a significant negative correlation between the sense of alienation and family social support;(12) Interpersonal trust, family cohesion can predict the overall sense of alienation, social alienation and interpersonal alienation to some extent;In addition, according to the findings, the researchers also made a number of strategies for schools and families to reduce students’sense of alienation.
