House of Tudor was the beginning of modern times of the history in England. Then the society of England was evolving. Politics, economy, religion, culture and even structure was changing gradually. A Reformation was coming soon. Reformation in England was led by King, and fulfilled in Parliament from upper to lower class. The economic and political significance of Reformation exceeded even itself. The character of the country was changed totally. After Reformation, all the rights of Court of Rome was cleared away from England, and national church was established in England. King became the Supreme Head of both church and laity. King's highness was established. The ancient function of Parliament was rebuilt and enlarged at the same time. A new system of government, "King in the Parliament", appeared. As the highest class in the parliament, King's power was controlled by the law made in Parliament. Parliament became the highest political organization in England. "King in the Parliament" was the symbol of the sovereignty of England. This paper is mainly to discuss the early Reformation of England by the relation of King and the parliament.
