Geser Legends And Traditional Mongolian Worship

Geser legends refer to the legends which are the Geser as the hero.the natural landscapes and historical relics of the Mongolian settelments as the theme.The image of the Geser comes from the Geser of the epic Geser, however, the Geser legends'foundation lies in the Mongolian traditional culture in terms of the creation and spreads.The thesis drawed on the results of previous research and analyzed the elements of Mogolian primitive relief and the worship of hero that implicated in the Geser legends and proved that the Mongolian traditional culture gave birth to the Geser legends.The thesis consists of four parts. The introduction introduced the research survey,research purposes,the significance and the methods. The main text consists of three chapters. Chaperâ… described the distribution categories and the characteristic of the spreads of the Geser legends. Chaperâ…¡pointed out the Geser legends'relationship to the original religious culture of Mogolian based on the analysis of the elements of the worship of rocks,arrows and springs. Chapterâ…¢, first, pointed out the image of Geser in the Geser legends comes from the Geser in the epic Geser,but also different from the Geser in the Geser Memoir. Secondly, analyzed the Mongolian traditional worship of the hero that implicated in the Geser legends from the angles of force,gallantry and integrity, etc. Finally, discribed the process of the image of Geser in the Geser lagends gradually evolved into the god of war from the image of hero. The conclusion briefly summarized the content and the viewpoint of the thesis.
