Modern Russian Adverbs: Definition, Classification And Speech Function

Adverb is one of the important parts of speech in Russian, it is used frequently in a wide range. Since the twentieth century, academic research of russian area are very active in social development with a corresponding language changed, there have been numerous russian new adverb, its applications are more flexible, contemporary russian adverbs are gradually concerned by more and more scholars.In moderm society Russian adverbs are researched from two aspects:the macro exploration and micro analysis. The macro-exploration is the whole of the Russian adverb functions and features of significance, including the basic problems such as: definition and classification; the micro-analysis refers to function, semantic and usage of each adverb, detailed describe and sum up the function and characteristics from the various aspects. We will study this article mainly on the macro-exploration, comprehensive analyze the definition, classification and function of contemporary Russian adverbs.The paper consists three parts:foreword, text, and conclusions.In the foreword, definitions and scope of the research subject are provided; also practicality, innovationality, and its value are mentioned.The text is composed of three chapters.In the first chapter we will discuss the definition of contemporary Russian adverbs:first, explain and compare the representative views of Russian adverbs' definition in the latter half of the twentieth century; Second, study the controversial issues about adverbs in russia and propose the author's view; Finally, according to the above-mentioned, we will give our definitions of the contemporary russian adverb.In the second chapter we will discuss the classification of contemporary Russian adverb:analyze and compare the traditional and new representative methods of the adverbs' classification, and then propose new point.In the third chapter we will discuss the function of contemporary Russian adverb: based on the rich corpus, we will study the adverbs'function from six aspects: morphology, syntax, discourse, rhetoric, communication and oral language.The last part of the paper provides the summary and conclusions; also further research prospective and practicality are included.
