Edouard Vuillard is the representative painter of Nabis----the most active painting group in Paris in late 19 century. He learned nutrition from Impressionism. He inherited tradition, but not limited to it. Simple perspective of art in their own life that he observed has developed a unique artistic language. This article focuses on the unique art form of Vuillard language, and making a deep and extensive research.This article is divided into four parts. The first chapter introduce the life and art of Vuillard of the unique artistic language and the formation of the historical background to the text of the description and analysis after the more convincing. the first chapter by the Vuillard's unique artistic language of historical reasons and background for analysis, so that later description and analysis of the more convincing. The second Chapter combines works to interpret the formal beauty. The formal beauty in Vuillard oil painting is mainly reflected from three facets:weakening of three-dimensional, multi-view perspective; composition planar; decorative taste. Vuillard works gave the audience a pair of new eyes to observe ordinary things, that feeling of new and exciting people realized in the form of paintings often mentioned. This explains the realistic style of western painting has been to decline in late 19 century. Large industrial age gave rise to the anxiety and depression, The ancient ideal of harmonious beauty can no longer describe current mental state of people's heart. The color beauty in Vuillard oil painting is mainly reflected from three facets:the subjective color; decorative color,with mysterious meanings of the symbolic. He draw on the useful elements in Impressionist paintings and played an important role of inheritance and development. These decorative works have powerful practical features and touch on the practical realities of social function, to purify people's hearts, to give people a strong spiritual support. Vuillard works of spiritual expression that revealed his true instinct of life, its deep meaning not only to touch the value of social life, but also put much more effect on people in his daily life to consciously to purification of the mind, and then at a certain level of respect and promote the harmonious development of the community of nations. Vuillard, with his own sincerity and love, has been so perfectly achieved works soft and elegant artistic atmosphere than Matisse, who has been working hard to pursue him. The art of Vuillard are deeply loved by Chinese artists and art lovers.I try to make a relatively systemic and concrete analysis of the painting Language of Vuillard's paintings on basis of the former research of other scholars, in order to advance the further research on Vuillard.
