Adult Attachment, The Intimate Relationship Between Motivation And Students' Intimate Relationship Quality

A great deal of research identified the attachment characteristics:avoidance and anxiety are crucial factors affecting individual intimacy. By the introduction of intimacy motivation, the research discussed the possible mechanism between attachment characteristics and intimacy quality from the new entry point of motivation.As the particularity of subjects, the research adopted two surveys:class collective survey and network survey. And six questionnaires:Experiences in Close Relationship Scale (ECR) of Chinese Version, Intimacy Motivation Questionnaire, Intimacy Commitment Questionnaire, Intimacy Perception Confliction Questionnaire and Intimacy Negative Attribution Questionnaire. The research discussed the relationships among Attachment Characteristics, Intimacy Motivation and Intimacy Quality. Eventually reached the following conclusions:(1) Revised Intimacy Motivation Scale in has good reliability and validity among college students.(2) Attachment Anxiety, Attachment Avoidance and Intimacy Motivation appeared in an obvious negative correlation; Intimacy Motivation and Intimacy quality appeared in an obvious negative correlation.(3) Intimacy Motivation partially mediates Attachment Anxiety and Negative Attribution, Intimacy Motivation fully mediates Attachment Anxiety, Commitment and Perception Confliction.(4) Intimacy Motivation fully mediates Attachment Avoidance and Negative Attribution, Intimacy Motivation partially mediates Attachment Avoidance, Satisfaction, Commitment and Perception Confliction.(5) Intimacy Motivation obviously regulates Attachment Avoidance, Intimacy Satisfaction, Commitment and Perception Confliction.
