Discussion On The Deduction Of Beijing Opera - Style Vocal Works

By analyzing the singing skills treatment and the music styles of the following three works:Mei Lanfang, the Marriage of Dragon and Phoenix and Eternal Masterpiece, this thesis aims to conclude the basic requirements and technical features of singing the Chinese national vocal music works with characteristics of Beijing Opera, then moves on to demonstrate its common rules and aesthetic principles.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this paper discusses the above arguments from the following three aspects:First, the Chinese national vocal music works with characteristics of Beijing Opera are introduced briefly. By giving examples of the works with characteristics of Beijing Opera among all the creational Chinese national vocal music works, its typical significance in the folk song singing is pointed out. Then more importance is attached to the reason why the writer chose the three works from lots of excellent works of the same kind.Second, the three works are analyzed respectively from the aspect of content, artistic conception, music structure, performance key points, grasping styles and son on.Third, the singing features of the Chinese national vocal music works with characteristics of Beijing Opera are discussed from the four following aspects:breath, acoustic cavity, articulation and performance. From the analysis of Mei Lanfang, the Marriage of Dragon and Phoenix and Eternal Masterpiece, this paper places emphasis on the combination of breath control, articulation, emotion grasping and the unity of singing and performance when singing the Chinese national vocal music works with characteristics of Beijing Opera. Only in this way, can singing of the Chinese national vocal music works with characteristics of Beijing Opera reach a perfect level.
