Played The Significance Of The Technique Innovation: Zither Music Music Performance In The 1980s

Since the 1980s, because of the fast development in social culture, Zheng, an ancient Chinese musical instrument, gain its new life. However, the advancement of social culture in new times recalls more abundant expression of Zheng. That makes the relevant playing methods step into a new age. In the article, the author performs a research and analysis on playing methods of Zheng and tries to explore the meaning of such methods bringing to Zheng-playing. The article was divided into four parts: Chapter One—Abstract of Zheng-playing methods before 1980s; Chapter Two—New Zheng-playing methods after 1980s, classification of these methods, and summary of the advancements between the relatively old methods and the new ones. Chapter Three--The lastest Zheng-playing methods, classification and declaration of methods used in modern Zheng-playing, explanation of the meaning of such methods. Chapter Four—The positive and negative aspects of new methods in Zheng-playing.
