Tibetan Buddhist nuns have developed gradually and have been become an important Buddhism group now, this due to the the revering Buddha environment in Tibet history. There contribution to Tibetan culture is outstanding.With the development of society and economic ,it is necessary to get much attention on the present of Tibetan Buddhist nuns in Tibet now.This paper is based on field research, at the same time ,the author have made an analysis point of view on past academic views.It will be revolve in the Dezhong Nunnery that located in the Mozhugongka county of Lhasa. The body of thesis detailed description of the temple environment, architecture, organizational structure, nuns in their daily life and religious affairs, through the investigation on the specific situation of the monastery, to look into their opportunities and obstacles in this time period; Combination of Tibetan tradition and historical background , as well as religious restrictions,make analysis on nuns ' religious aspirations and low status in religion an society.At last,make a judgment and prospecte to the status and prospects of whole Tibetan Buddhist nuns.Topic of Women is rather hot today, but as a minority female group,the Tibetan Buddhism nuns are ignore by society, not be concerned, not be cared. It is not fair, we should make more attention on them.Through concernning, hope to arouse the Self consciousness of women themselves .The research focuses on Tibetan Buddhist nuns 'lives and status have very real practical significance.To improve the status of women covers every aspect ,including education and degree organization in temples. There is clear distinction and restrictions in traditional buddhist about gender, which is determined by the history. Along the affirmation of the social value of women, nuns should also receive the same monastery education and degree awarding.This is not only the value of female, as well as the development power of temples ts in the new era.
