French Comic Artist Ink Will His Art Studies

The French comics artist Moebius(Jean Henri Gaston Giraud) earned high reputation in Europe,even worldwide. He made large number of unique and innovative works,wich were very forward looking and far reaching influenced the afters.Over 70's Moebius,who has made his name in the 1960s,is still active in the comics scene.His famous Lieutenent Blueberry which was started in 1963,is still in serializiing today.With the change of time left profound imprint in them,we can say that his works represent the evolving of Eruope comics in the recent 40 years.The artist created in very wide range,including science-fiction and fatasy genres,western comics,romances,and even superhero stories,and almost was innovative in every genre of them.His influence reaches films,fictions,fashion ect.However,such a comics master is hardly known in China,researches of him is few.This paper will study Moebius from aspects as his biography,style,achievement and influences,and will analysis some of his representative comics works,as to find some useful thoughts for our comics creations.
