In the late 50s and early 60s of 20th century China suffered rarehunger and caused a large number of unnatural deaths. In the new eraand 90s of 20th century, There are two waves of hunger writing . I studyits rich meaning by reading theses texts containing hunger: digging out thebasic causes of hunger, salvation and warning function. Glimpsing throughthe hunger writing in the literatural history I found its significance.This article is divided into three parts: in the first part it is showingcruel history by hunger writing of 80s of 20th century .Hunger cause theperish of life,the lose of dignity and moral etc.In the second part it is the interpretation of hunger writing in 90s of20th century. The writers pursued the specail narrative methods to returnhistory through hunger writing .The third part is salvation. Authors digged out the bsica cause ofsuffering by hunger writing ,especially comfor the wounded hearts ofintellectual. Restoring the historical truth, provide warning for futuregenerations to achieve the purpose of salvation.
