Aiming at documents of cross-sectional studies on vocal music and other subject during three decades since Reform and Opening up, the article arranges, sums up and analyzes over 300 documents in 16 domestic Professional Music Series. the article divides these documents into 3 parts according to the time: from 1978 to 1989, from 1990 to 1999, and from 2000 to 2009; 7 parts according to the content: Vocal Music and Psychology, Vocal Music and Aesthetics, Vocal Music and Linguistics, Vocal Music and Physiology and Medicine, Vocal Music and History, Vocal Music and Acoustics, Vocal Music and the other. By means of analyzing objectively and numerically these documents in variety of time and content, with a view to seize the sequence and feature of cross-sectional studies on vocal music and other subject during three decades since Reform and Opening up, the article adopts comparative analysis and specific comment on them so as to present value of reference and consultation for further studies on Vocal Music.
