"Don-Quixote" was a rare flower in the history of European novels with a special charm of no matter the theme, characters or the art features.Merely the researches on the art features at home and abroad can be approximately divided into the following aspects after a gross summary:the multiple-course narrative structure, the contribution to the development of modern novels, the satirizing at manifold angles, the comic aesthetic features and the using of the parody technique based on Bahktin's research on carnivalization. Of course, the work is far from complete. On basis of the former discourse, the article summarizes the modernity within the art features of "Don-Quixote" to thoroughly analyze certain concrete problems. In our view, not only the modernity within the art features was involved in literature creation itself, but also the switch among various narrative perspectives and the uncertainty of representing some crucial events all showed the author's complete new explanation for the primary contradiction between fact and fiction during the process of composition. Besides, the parody technique and its rich meaning explained uniquely by Bahktin emitted a new sheen, too. Therefore, combining with concrete analysis of the text, the article is going to reveal the modernity within the art features of "Don-Quixote" through the using of parody technique, the artful consistency of fact and fiction and consciously discussion on novel creation, reading and criticism.Part One is mainly on the using of parody technique; It was a important art feature of "Don-Quixote", as well as one of the bases on which the theme and characters were established. Combing the history of parody in western literature, the article analyzes its usage and the meaning in the novel through the figure designing, the literal expressions, the plots setting and the narrative structure arrangement. It not only denied the absurd knight novels, but also reconstructed it by showing Don-Quixote's eternal beauty of humanity.Part Two chiefly discusses how the author dealt the primary contradiction between fact and fiction during the process of composition; The novel formed multiple narrative levels by switching among various narrative perspectives, thus, the boundary of fact and fiction was blurred. Moreover, the uncertainty of representation some material and crucial events broke the previous author-know-it-all mode during the process of composition, inducting the readers'active participation, also cutting the distance from fact to fiction.Part Three is mostly about the author's conscious construction of novel theories, including the self-mentioning of the novel itself, novel creation, reading and criticism.
