Study On The Two Expressions Of "Bu Yao Tai XP"

This paper focuses on analyzing and comparing two pragmatic expressions of"Do not be too XP" and their base format:"too XP".We trying to find out therelationship among these three format, and trying to explain what’s the main factorto lead "Do not be too XPe" generating.We think thatin the expression,"don’t be too XP" can use to expresse two differentmeanings, one is used to expresse imperative mood，just as"don’t be too XPp", and theother is used to expresse laments tone, just as "don’t be too XPe".In imperative mood, itoften represents negative intention, such as discourage, warning and prohibition; but inexclamation mood, it usually laments the high degree of the "XP".The difference in form of "Don’t be too XPp" and "don’t be too XPe" is focused ontheir choice of the unknown composition and the external association, we candiscriminate them by transforming,just like Superimposing scheme and adding the precomposition."Too XP" as the basic format of "don’t be too XP", in the normal expression, it can beexpressed in positive will and negative will, its core is "excessive expression". We thinkthat "don’t be too XPp" is mainly used to exhort the negative intention of "too XP"; and"don’t be too XPe" is mainly used to make the maximal sighed of affirmed intention of "tooXP", and it also can make the maximal sighed of negative intention of "too XP" when timego by.There are three foundations to the generation of "Don’t be too XPe",they areimplicature logical semantics of"don’t be too XPp", Chinese people like usingnegative expression to express affirmed meanig, and the grammatical constructions.The backtracking inference and metonymic play a role in the process of generationof "Don’t be too XPe".
