Israel and Turkey are both influential powers with splendid cultures and long histories in the Middle East, while also being non-Arab"minorities"in the region. The people of the two countries had never been in a state of war in the history. Israel and Turkey established diplomatic relations as early as the March of 1949, which made Turkey the first Muslim country to recognize the State of Israel. The political, economic, and military communication between the two countries has laid a very good foundation for the development of bilateral relations between the two countries. However, due to the complexity of the region, the two countries'relations have been affected by other powers, both global and regional. Currently, Israeli-Turkish relations are influenced by the United States, European Union, Iran and Syria, the first two willing to promote the development of the Israeli-Turkish relations, while the latter two concentrated on blocking the development of said relations. The concerns of the national interests together with the influences of other powers make Israeli-Turkish relations a distinct possibility in the future, but will surely encounter tough opposition. This thesis is based on marking the outline of the development of the bilateral relations between Israel and Turkey since the establishment of the diplomatic relations and tries to identify the elements which influence the bilateral relation and make profound analysis of them, so as to give a scientific prediction of the future relations of the two countries. Because of the great importance of the two countries in the region, a good analysis of the current situation and a good prediction of the future relation will help us have a better understanding of the political situation in the Middle East Region. Meanwhile, because of the Islamic character of the country, Turkey plays a crucial role in solving the conflict between Israel and Arab countries and provides a very vivid example in co-existing with Israel peacefully in the region. What'more, a good prediction of the future relation of the two countries will help China promote Middle East Peace Process.
