The Israeli Lobby Group And The Trump Administration's Middle East Policy Research

The Middle East has always been a hot spot for US diplomacy and a strategic region for U.S foreign policy.And therefore each U.S administration adjusts its Middle East policies.However,Trump administration's Middle East policies,compared to Obama's,are relatively radical.Although the adjustment of the Trump administration's policies toward Middle East has complex domestic and international backgrounds,by analyzing the content and influencing factors of the Trump administration's policies,the author of this paper finds that the “right-wing” pro-Israel lobbying groups play a key role in the formulation process of Trump administration's policies toward the Middle East.This paper will analyze how the pro-Israel lobbying groups have influenced and shaped the Trump administration's policies toward the Middle East.This paper is divided into three chapters.In Chapter One,the author will briefly introduce the contents of the Trump administration's policies toward the Middle East to readers and make readers know Trump administration's policies on Middle East Peace Process and toward Iran,which support Israel.In Chapter Two,the author will analyze the responses from the “right-wing” pro-Israel lobbying groups and the “left-wing” pro-Israel lobbying groups to Trump administration's policies toward the Middle East.These responses showed that the “right-wing” pro-Israel lobbying groups generally appreciate and welcome Trump administration's policies toward the Middle East,while the “left-wing” pro-Israel lobbying groups are very opposition of Trump administration's policies.Chapter Three is the core part of this whole paper.And in this chapter,the author will analyze how the “right-wing” pro-Israel lobbying groups “guide the policy process” and “dominate public discourse” in order to influence and shape Trump administration's policies on the Middle East Peace Process and toward Iran.Through analysis from this paper,the author finds that the “right-wing” pro-Israel lobbying groups have exerted too much influence on Trump administration's Middle East policies and made Trump administration long-term strategic planning in the Middle East.And thus Trump administration's Middle East policy can only bring a new round of turmoil to the Middle East.
