Marx Leisure Philosophical Interpretation And Its Contemporary Significance

In China, with the rapid development of economy and society, people enjoy more and more free time, and have the necessary material conditions to pursue leisure lifestyle. As leisure time in law is increasing and people's living standard is improving, leisure industry rapidly developed from weak to strong. Leisure has become fashion of our modern society, and thus changed people's daily life structure, behavior and even the entire social industrial structure and economic composition. The whole society also presents a leisure trend, which brings us the challenge of relationship between labor and leisure. Marx once said "philosophies understand the life". It appears necessary to face with people's rapidly recreational life in leisure trend, study on people's leisure problem, leisure activities provide methodological guidance in the general sense, guide people to properly deal with the relationship between labor and leisure.This paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines leisure, In this chapter the author first describes the general meaning of leisure, including the Western concept of leisure, leisure recreation in the form of Western ideology and a common feature, and then describes the leisure domain of Marxist Philosophy expounded Marxist Perspective leisure the connotation of the characteristics of leisure, the author analyzes that leisure is a survival state. Leisure expounds the three basic characteristics of Marxist leisure ideology: timeliness, freedom, human nature. The second chapter comprehensively expounds the main content of Marxist leisure ideas. This chapter consists of three parts: Marx's critique of the leisure ideas in the old world, Marx beyond the traditional thinking in the development of leisure and recreational concept and Marx's found contains of leisure ideas in the new world. The Former part elaborates from the criticism of alienated labor and wage labor;the middle elaborates mainly from the unity of labor and leisure to start discussion, the latter analyzes from the value of Marxist leisure ideas——people's free and overall development and the future society with the important feature of leisure. The third chapter, this paper analyzes the contemporary significance of Marx's leisure ideas: ideological theory and realistic significance. In real life, we should develop the productivity to create recreational physical foundation, to adopt various ways to free time and to be on guard against alienation recreational phenomena.
