On Marx's Thought-"Free Time And Human Development" And Its Practical Significance

At the moment of human being conscious of themselves, people's own survival anddevelopment constitutes the eternal pursue of human. From theperspective of human development and with Marx'theory about human's fully development,the author analyzes Marx'study on dissimilation and the value of surplus, and then the authorreveals that workers are inevitably controlled by the working time. And finally, the authorexpresses the thought of eliminating the dissimilation and achieving free. In the third part, thepaper explains the"free time and human development"of Marx which has a rich connotationand multiple implication. The reality human is the start point of historical materialism and onthe basis of practice, Marx points out that free time has antagonism in class society and themeans to build communism is the combination of labor time and free time. Only by this way,labor become the essential need of human and then each person can developed fully.According to Marx, free time is the inevitable product of the development of practice andhuman. It is the time for human to develop. The essence of free time decides its important rolein the process of human fully development. And in the last part, the paper tries to prove thatMarx'"free time and human development"is instructive for the contemporary China in theunification of value and reality.
