After the Iraq war,people pay much attention to its post-war reconstruction,economic and social reconstruction decides that whether the people of Iraq can return to the normal life as soon as possible. And the post-war political reconstruction is more significant. It decides whether the fundamental"purpose",that the United States launching the Iraq war to liberate the Iraqi people from the dictatorship,and to promote democracy in Iraq ,could be achieved or not. And the result of political reconstruction will test the feasibility of imposing the western democracy in Middle East. It will affect the"legality"of Iraq war if it fails in post-war political reconstruction.In this thesis , author will take some aspects , by method of successive approximations ,from current situation to regime,to analyze deep gradually. First of all,writer summarize the features of America democracy,and comparatively analyze the American democracy and Middle East Islamic civilization,to discover the commonness and conflict between the two. Because the post-war reconstruction is controlled by America,American democracy will definitely influence the process and result. Secondly,by researching the domestic environment of the post-war political reconstruction,and the suitability that the American democracy in Iraq post-war political reconstruction,in order to proof-test the compatibility between American democracy and Iraq political and society environment. Finally,author analyzes the prospect of American-style democracy in post-war political reconstruction of Iraq. In the short time,the Iraq post-war political reconstruction is proceeding smoothly in general. But in fact,to build democratic ideals is a long-term process. In my opinion,the outlook is not optimistic.
