The Common Concern of Humankind is a new concept which is created by< United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change > and < Convention on Biological Diversity >. But the academic circles have not attach much importance to this concept.There are some reasons to establish Common Concern of Humankind. First of all, Climate Change has become a serious global problem. Secondly, the social nature of Climate Change is special. Thirdly, the original concept of international law can not apply to Climate Change and Biological Diversity.The legal connotation of Common Concern of Humankind consists of subject, object and content. The Common Concern of Humankind has legal sense. It is an important legal concept. In the meantime, the Common Concern of Humankind is not the international custom or the international jus cogens.The paper adopts theoretical analysis, historical analysis, empirical analysis and comparative analysis. It systematically analyzes the causes, connotation and the relationships with related concepts. In the end, the author puts forward some suggestions...
