On The Rule Of Law Role In Building A Socialist Harmonious Society

The theory of "Rule of Law" is put forward with the generation, growth and development of the governing Chinese Communist Party. Ever since the Fourth Session of the Sixteenth CPC Central Committee, when "the construction of socialist harmonious society" has been raised, issues such as how to better apply the theory of "Rule of Law" to the construction of socialist market economy, cultural development, political and ecological civilization as well as harmonious society have become the most urgent tasks of implementing "Rule of Law" and building a socialist harmonious society. In order to achieve transformation of economic development, sound and fast economic development, and a proper handling of economic development and harmonious society construction in the social transformational process, we must implement "Rule of Law". Only a good application and implementation of laws in different levels of society can we build a "socialist harmonious society".This article discusses "Rule of Law" theory by Chinese Communist Party, explores the theoretical meaning and basic requirements of "Rule of Law" and its role in constructing a "socialist harmonious society"The first part discusses the four important historical periods, the exploration of the" Rule of Law" theory and its main results through the clue of historical periods.The second part focuses on the definition, basic content, and requirements of Rule of Law", and then comes to the conclusion that government according to the law is an essential requirement of the "Rule of Law" in China.The third part of the first two chapters is based on the preliminary exploration of the inner-relation between "Rule of Law" and "harmonious society". It also points out the outstanding problems in the construction of socialist harmonious society in China, and then focuses on the role of "Rule of Law" in the promotion of political civilization, improvement of the socialist market economic system, promotion of spiritual civilization and cultural development, and building of a socialist harmonious society, etc.
