A Re-release, The Materialism Of Marxism

This thesis asserts that Marxism is a kind of materialism. But there are two different kinds of materialism. One is materialist monism and the other is a dualism with the division of subject and object or of mind and matter, etc. With a philogical study of the first article of Theses on Feuerbach, this thesis points out that "der Gegenstand, die Wirklichkeit, Sinnlichkeit" have nearly the same meaning as matter. And then the thesis tries to demonstrate the ontological standpoint of Marxism, that is, a kind of materialist monism, from which Marxism analyzes the society and history. Human beings and their practice should be interpreted as a part of interactions in the material universe. Then the new conception of Marxism will have its solid scientific foundation. Lots of Marx's and Engels'comments are collected to illustrate how the materialist ontology deals with the real life. It's also argued that the ontology of materialism should be divided from Feuerbach himself and other representatives of German ideology, who got a lot of strong criticism from Marxism mainly because of Marx and Engels'attitude of communism.
