On Marx's Material Ontology

Human is a paradox existence.Ontology is precisely one way of philosophical reflection on human's paradox existence.Ontology is about Being and the state of Being, which has a tradition in the history of Western philosophy. Arche,Being,Substance,Noumena and Existence were the five Specific paradigms of Ontology in the history of Western philosophy.Marx critically inherited this tradition on a historicism.Ontology was also the most important profoundation on which the philosophy can be based.Old materialism had its own inherent advantages and also had a tradition in the history of Western philosophy. Firstly,old materialism had the scientific spirit and positive attitude because of it's close link with the natural sciences. Secondly,it also had a strong feeling of realism.Marx himself was once an old materialist,and had the old philosophy of materialism as well.Due to the unipolar way of thinking,old materialism only explain the problem from the objective world,the outside world and the nature.Thus it exposed the defect of the metaphysical methodology.So it put it' s Only Objects limited to the nature alone.Because of not understanding the revolutionary significance of the practice, Old materialism purely look the people as the abstract and static one with the sense of intuitive.Then it can not explained the historical and social problems scientifically and excluded the real world out of the vision of old materialism. Finally,Old materialism viewed history as idealism.Marx inherited the old materialism but only stick to.He not only adhered to the intuitive approach but also,more importantly,added the practical thinking.Then Marx explained the world scientifically with the dialectical method. In this way,he explaned the real people scientifically and revealed the social and historical problems reasonably.He also put the real world into the view of materialism.In Marxism's view,Material had two implications: Firstly it refered the Objective oppositing the Subjective. Secondly it indicated the entire world including all the material and spiritual phenomena.Itself derived from the natural world.From the sense of Inter-subjectivity and Time, the latter meaning of material included the former.So we should discuss Marx' s matteral ontology which has important theoretical and practical significance.
