A Study On The Standby Time In Labor Law

In recent years, there is a trend of rapid growth in labor dispute cases. In these cases, the lawsuits about standby time have attracted much attention. The reason behind this problem is not only deeply about the rights of workers, but also bring a lot of confusion to the employers in judicial decisions, or even a loss of a sense. Based on this situation, this paper focus on the standby time problem, the first thing is to give a definition of standby time in the mainland of China as well as the foreign country; then to analyze the problems that standby time will bring and results in; and finally I hope to solve the standby time problem and make a few suggestions to its consequences, and I want to make a contribution to standby time issues research in labor law.
